In a world filled with diverse cultures and backgrounds, it is essential to promote inclusivity and understanding among individuals. The project “cultureART disCOVER” aims to do just that. By exploring the cultures of the nine countries (Ukraine, Syria, Venezuela, Afghanistan, Sudan, Myanmar, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Türkiye, Greece) from which the most refugees come, the project seeks to foster empathy, break down stereotypes, and create a more compassionate society. Through a series of workshops and activities, participants will have the opportunity to learn, interact, and exchange ideas with refugees and asylum seekers, thus enriching their lives and enhancing the fabric of their communities.

Uncovering New Horizons

The primary objective of the project is to help participants delve deeper into the cultures of refugees’ home countries. By offering insights into their lifestyle, customs, history, and nature, participants gain a profound appreciation for the diversity that exists in our world. This newfound knowledge is a powerful tool that can lead to greater intercultural tolerance and understanding between individuals and the wider society.

Empowering Active Citizens

In fostering intercultural dialogue and cross-cultural communication, the project empowers individuals to become active citizens in their communities.
