The purpose of the Re-Access City! the project cycle is to generate a positive change in the level of accessibility regarding cities, institutions, and public services in Europe. In order to achieve the goal, the participants will be involved in non-formal educational workshops, they will work in intercultural teams and they will experience how wheelchair users and blind people are moving into the city of Odorheiu Secuiesc under the guidance of an experienced trainer.
The objectives were to:
- The participants develop key skills.
- Raise awareness and increase the empathy of young Europeans for the inclusion of people with disabilities.
- The participants have active involvement in joint efforts to improve the living conditions of people with disabilities in Europe.
- Identify the problems of accessibility of cities, institutions, and public services, and develop useful tools.
